In Mexico, it is prohibited to introduce and extract firearms without prior permission issued by the Mexican government or in this case the American consulate.
Before traveling from the United States to Mexico, you must obtain a permit from the consulate to be able to transport firearms, this corresponds to a declaration issued by the United States customs to be able to return with said firearms back to your country.
There are various weapons that cannot be brought into or extracted from the country, such as rifles, shotguns or any other type of firearm between the United States and Mexico without the documentation already mentioned.
